Man United have confirmed Michael Carrick as their new head coach following a successful interim role.
The former United midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the club, with the option of a one-year extension.
Carrick initially joined the Red Devils on a short-term basis after Ruben Amorim’s departure in January.
However, the 44-year-old coach has impressed at Old Trafford, leading the club to Champions League qualification for next season.
Since Carrick’s arrival, United have won 10 of their 15 Premier League matches and beaten rivals Manchester City and Liverpool.
