There aren’t many wide receiver tandems in the NFL right now better than the Los Angeles Rams’ of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. In fact, there may not be a single one that edges out those two.
Nacua is one of the best all-around receivers in football, while Adams has become a cheat code in the red zone after leading the NFL with 14 touchdown receptions in only 14 games last season. Together, they’re terrific, but they’re outstanding individually, too.
Chad Johnson sees them both as top-10 wide receivers in the league right now, which is hard to argue against. He put Nacua fourth and Adams ninth in his most recent rankings. Nacua’s slot feels a little bit low, but Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the reigning Offensive Player of the Year, and Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson are both considered elite receivers.
Below is Johnson’s complete top 10, which actually includes 11 players thanks to a tie for 10th.
1. JSN
2. Chase
3. Jettas
4. Puka
5. NFL Youngboy
6. Amon Ra
7. Nico
8. Cee Dee Lamb
9. D. Adams
10. Slim Reaper/Tee Higgins https://t.co/1Ye60xwFu3— Chad Johnson (@ochocinco) May 8, 2026
Nacua skyrocketed up just about every wide receiver ranking after putting up 129 catches for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns, leading the NFL in receptions and receiving yards per game. Adams likely would’ve scored even more than 14 touchdowns had he stayed healthy down the stretch, continuing his dominance inside the 10-yard line.
The biggest concern for the Rams is the talent drop-off after Nacua and Adams. If either player were to get injured, Konata Mumpfield, Jordan Whittington and CJ Daniels would be the top guys asked to step up. Tight end depth helps in that regard, but the Rams have to hope someone emergeds from that competition as a clear-cut WR3.
