The New Orleans Saints went offense-heavy in Days 1 and 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft, selecting Jordyn Tyson and Oscar Delp with their No. 8 and No. 73 picks. They also landed Christen Miller out of Georgia in Round 2, bringing in the nose tackle to add to their defensive unit that still could use more talent. With pick No. 132 in the fourth round, they landed Auburn guard Jeremiah Wright, continuing to add to the offense around Tyler Shough.
Pick No. 132 was one of the selections the Saints received from the Seattle Seahawks in the Rashid Shaheed trade earlier last season. Wright has met with New Orleans plenty of times during the pre-draft cycle, and ultimately, he ends up with the team that has shown immense interest in him leading up to this point. Now, he will try to win the right guard starting job long-term, as a potential replacement for Cesar Ruiz in the coming years.
