2026 Tennessee football preview: Nathan Robinson

Defensive lineman Nathan Robinson enters his fourth season at Tennessee in 2026. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound redshirt junior appeared in 27 games for the Vols from 2023-25.

Robinson has recorded 17 tackles, three tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, one pass deflection and one forced fumble during his collegiate career.

In 2025, he played in all 13 games and totaled 14 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, one pass deflection and one forced fumble.

Robinson also played in 13 contests in 2024. He appeared in one contest as a true freshman in 2023, making his collegiate debut in a season-opening win against Virginia at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

Robinson has two years of eligibility remaining and was a three-time SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll selection from 2023-25.

He is from Greenbrier High School in Greenbrier, Tennessee and helped the Bobcats to the 4A state playoffs as a senior in 2022. Robinson enrolled early with the Vols and participated in Orange Bowl practices.

Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football season Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium. The season opener is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).
