3 free agent wide receivers the Steelers can target after NFL Draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers already addressed the wide receiver position with the second-round selection of Germie Bernard in the 2026 NFL Draft, but there are a few veteran options the team can consider via free agency.

From a former New England Patriot to a previously injured yet undeniably talented playmaker, here are three wide receivers the Steelers could consider after the draft.

Stefon Diggs

Fresh off a Super Bowl appearance with the Patriots, Diggs remains one of the top wideouts available, proving in 2025 that even at 32 years old, he’s still among the very best receivers in the league.

Curtis Samuel

Samuel, hands down one of the cheapest free agent wide receivers on the list, would be a great pickup given his versatility to play outside and in the slot, as well as his elite 4.31 speed.

Tyreek Hill

It’s no secret Hill remains one of the most polarizing free agents available, especially given the uncertainty surrounding the devastating knee injury he suffered in 2025. But if the Steelers would be okay waiting on Hill’s recovery, even if he had to miss some time early in 2026, their offense would easily become one of the league’s most dangerous units down the stretch.
