Auburn football in the mix for 2027 wide receiver Anthony Jennings

Auburn football is in the mix to land a speedy 2027 wide receiver from Florida.

Anthony Jennings, a four-star wide receiver from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has placed Auburn in his top five ahead of his summer visit schedule. Auburn will now compete with Florida, Florida State, Syracuse, and Maryland for Jennings’ signature until December’s signing day.

Jennings was the leading receiver at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale last season, hauling in 34 passes for 823 yards and 11 touchdowns over a span of eight games during the 2025 season. His 5-11, 160-pound frame would fit well in a slot role, and he would be a good building block for Auburn’s wide receiver recruiting. However, the Auburn Tigers must fight off the Florida Gators, who lead in Jennings’ recruitment according to Rivals’ Recruiting Prediction Machine, which gives the Gators a favorable forecast at 94.3%.

Jennings is the No. 44 wide receiver from the 2027 class and ranks No. 26 from the state of Florida.
