The Philadelphia 76ers, who trailed 3-1 after four games, forced a Game 7 by defeating the Boston Celtics in Game 6. Tyrese Maxey scored 30 points, Paul George added 23 and Joel Embiid added 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Sixers defeated the Boston Celtics 106-93 in Game 6 of the first round playoff matchup.

The Celtics didn’t just lose, they also may have lost Jason Tatum, who was injured in the third quarter and didn’t return. It looked like he suffered a leg injury. Reports after the game say Tatums is OK, but he iddn’t play in the fourth quarter.

Jaylen Brown scored 18 points for Boston, Tatum added 17.

The win sets up a Game 7. It won’t be the first time they’ve met in a do or die for both teams.
