FanDuel Racing app is down for some users amidst KY Derby betting

FanDuel Racing, an app used for betting on horse races, is “temporarily unavailable” for some users hours ahead of the 152nd Kentucky Derby, according to an error message when users open the app.

In a post on X, FanDuel Racing let users experiencing issues know it is working to fix the problem.

“We’re currently experiencing intermittent issues affecting deposits, account balances, and wagers on TVG and FanDuel Racing. Our team is actively working to resolve this as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as soon as they’re available,” read the post, sent at 3:11 p.m. May 2.

Angry FanDuel Racing users experiencing access issues have taken to the company’s X account to voice their concerns and frustrations with the service being down on Derby Day.

“Can’t place bets. Neat,” wrote @DanLambskin.

“Wish I could bet on this.. oh wait,” wrote @NathanFolk.

“Fix your app!!!!!” wrote @RayPrado714.

FanDuel Racing has yet to post any updates about the issues being fixed as of about 4:30 p.m. The app remains serviceable for some and out-of-order for others.
