Amid a decision to return to the sidelines, 12-year Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has been approached with many different options.
Retirement is one, and returning to coach Golden State for a 13th consecutive year is another.
That said, according to The Stein Line, a third option has emerged for the career 604-win coach.
Stein reported Sunday that ESPN executives have been “aggressively” trying to convince him to return to the network as a broadcaster.
As a broadcaster, Kerr spent parts of nine years with TNT in two separate stints. First from 2003-2007 and again from 2010-2014.
Although broadcasting could be a possible route, Kerr and the Warriors are expected to decide on his future as a coach first, possibly this week.
