Jaguars make reported roster move on OL after NFL draft

The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly made a roster move along the offensive line, not long after the 2026 NFL draft ended.

According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson, the Jaguars are releasing second-year offensive lineman Sal Wormley.

Why did the Jaguars release OL Sal Wormley?

After five seasons at Penn State, the Jaguars signed Wormley as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL draft. In college, Wormley was a three-year starter and played nearly 2,400 career offensive snaps, almost all of which came at right guard.

He would spend last season on the Jacksonville practice squad and was signed to a reserve/futures deal for the 2026 season in January.

Ultimately, Wormley was the odd man out in what has become a crowded interior offensive line position group for the Jaguars.

Jacksonville drafted Emmanuel Pregnon in the third round this year. He joins Ezra Cleveland, Patrick Mekari, Wyatt Milum, and Chuma Edoga as options at guard. Walker Little played some guard late last season as well.

The Jaguars also added Garrett DiGiorgio and Jordan White in undrafted free agency.
