April proved to be the decisive month of Inter’s title charge. Across four matches, the Nerazzurri secured three wins and one draw, beating Roma 5-2, coming from behind to defeat Como 4-3, overcoming Cagliari 3-0 at San Siro, and drawing 2-2 away to Torino.
Four matches in which Marcus Thuram made his mark. The Nerazzurri number 9 scored five goals in four games, also providing two assists. His outstanding run of form culminated with his goal against Parma on the day Inter secured the Club’s 21st Scudetto. Due to his phenomenal performances, Tikus has been named Serie A Player of the Month for April.
The award will be presented to the French forward ahead of Inter vs Hellas Verona, scheduled for the weekend of 16-17 May.
