The NCAA Softball Tournament gets started on Friday, with all four Baton Rouge Regional teams in action.
On Friday, Virginia Tech and South Alabama will play in the early game, while LSU takes on Akron in the late game.

The Tigers and Zips are set to start at 5:30 p.m. on Friday from Tiger Park in Baton Rouge. That first pitch is tentative, as it could be delayed if the 3 p.m. game between VT and U of SA runs long.
