AUBURN — Alex Golesh continues to make headway on the recruiting trail, as consensus four-star and top-100 player Layton von Brandt announced Monday, May 18, he was committing to Auburn football and its 2027 recruiting class.
Formerly a Penn State commit, the 6-foot-6, 270-pound offensive tackle from Delaware is the eighth commitment to Auburn‘s latest class, and its seventh since the conclusion of spring practices. He’s also the second-highest-rated prospect in Auburn’s class, behind only running back Myson Johnson-Cook.
With von Brandt, Auburn’s class should rank 20th nationally, according to 247Sports’ class calculator, making for a 12-spot leap. It should also go from 11th to sixth in the SEC.
