Which Falcons players will be free agents in 2027?

The Atlanta Falcons are wrapping up their first offseason under president of football Matt Ryan and general manager Ian Cunningham, but their first real test will come in 2027. While the 2026 season is obviously important, the team’s front office was handcuffed by the previous regime.

Since the Falcons were limited in salary cap space and draft capital (no first-round pick in 2026), there was only so much they could do to improve the roster in Year 1. Atlanta made out okay, nonetheless. The team signed Tua Tagovailoa for just over $1 million and added several veterans with starting experience.

Next year, though, things will get real. The Falcons have a long list of players, including Drake London, Jessie Bates III and Divine Deablo, set to enter free agency in 2027.

Here’s a quick rundown of next year’s unrestricted free agents on offense and defense.

Falcons offensive free agents in 2027

Tight end Kyle Pitts will be a free agent once again after playing on the franchise tag in 2026. The offensive line will also take up a large chunk of change. Center Ryan Neuzil, right tackle Jawaan Taylor and guard Matthew Bergeron will all be free agents. If Tua Taovailoa secures the starting job and plays well, he won’t be cheap to re-sign. Obviously, London is the big fish here. The franchise tag is an option for the former USC standout.

  • QB Tua Tagovailoa
  • RB Brian Robinson
  • RB Tyler Goodson
  • WR Drake London
  • WR Dylan Drummond
  • TE Kyle Pitts
  • TE Austin Hooper
  • TE Charlie Woerner
  • C Ryan Neuzil
  • OT Jawaan Taylor
  • OG Matthew Bergeron
  • OG Kyle Hinton
  • OT Storm Norton
  • C Corey Levin

Falcons defensive free agents in 2027

In terms of the Falcons’ defensive free agents, it’s an even longer list of players. Safety Jessie Bates, linebacker Divine Deablo, and defensive lineman Zach Harrison will hit the open market in 2027. You’ll also see many of the team’s recent free agent additions on this list. Edge rushers Azeez Ojulari, Samson Ebukam and Cameron Thomas all signed one-year deals.

  • S Jessie Bates III
  • S Sydney Brown
  • S Jammie Robinson
  • S DeMarcco Hellams
  • CB Mike Ford
  • CB Darren Hall
  • CB Darnay Holmes
  • CB C.J. Henderson
  • CB Clark Phillips III
  • LB Divine Deablo
  • LB Christian Harris
  • LB DeAngelo Malone
  • LB Troy Andersen
  • LB Channing Tindall
  • EDGE Azeez Ojulari
  • EDGE Samson Ebukam
  • DE Cameron Thomas
  • DL Chris Williams
  • DL Da’Shawn Hand
  • DL LaCale London
  • DL Zach Harrison

The Falcons will surely look to bring back London, but there’s just not enough money to keep everybody. The team has to figure out what to do at center, right tackle, linebacker and tight end. Fortunately, there’s still plenty of time for Atlanta’s new front office to figure out the best course of action.
