2027 Virginia offensive tackle names Tennessee in top three schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star offensive tackle Q’Mari Hudson named Tennessee in his top three schools, along with Virginia and Virginia Tech, according to Steve Wiltfong of On3.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect is from Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. Rivals ranks him as the No. 33 offensive tackle in the class and No. 9 player in Virginia.

Tennessee offered Hudson a scholarship on March 30. He visited Tennessee for a spring practice on March 21 and will officially visit the Vols on June 19.

Syracuse was the first school to offer Hudson a scholarship on Feb. 12, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Old Dominion, Wake Forest, Marshall, East Carolina, Liberty, North Carolina State, West Virginia, Maryland, Penn State, Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, North Carolina Central, James Madison and Wayne State.

Tennessee has seven commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, defensive back Carter Jamison and defensive back Brandon Leavell.
