Another Shore Conference Tournament is in the books.
St. John Vianney softball reclaimed the Shore crown with a decisive 5-1 victory over Donovan Catholic in the final at Count Basie Park on Thursday, winning the rubber match between the two rivals who have met in the final in three of the last four seasons. The Lancers prevailed in an extra innings classic in 2024, but siphoned away the drama with a more dominant performance in 2026.
Obviously, SJV had plenty of elite performers that helped pave the way to the title. But there were other outstanding performances from players who stepped up in the do-or-die moments of the tournament to deliver for their teams.
But it’s up to APP readers to decide: who was the softball MVP of the Shore Conference Tournament?
