Timberwolves host best collegiate 3-point shooter for pre-draft workout

The Minnesota Timberwolves hosted plenty of prospects Friday as they prepare for the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft. According to NBA insider Darren Wolfson, the workout went “solid.” Wolfson also mentioned that one player present for the workout was Iowa State forward Milan Momcilovic.

Although Momcilovic has not yet decided whether or not he will return to college next year, he could be a potential second-round steal if he remains in the draft. The 6’8″ forward led all of college basketball in 3-point percentage last season, shooting 48.7% from beyond the arc on 7.5 3-point attempts per game. For the year he averaged 16.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and one assist. Currently Momcilovic ranks No. 43 in ESPN’s NBA Draft big board. He has five days left to withdraw or officially enter the draft.
