Donovan Mitchell has been excellent for the Cleveland Cavaliers for many years. However, they keep stumbling in the Playoffs. In previous seasons, they could not get past the second-round barrier.

This season, it seems they are struggling even to get one win against the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals. Mitchell has performed at a decent level, but it seems the Cavs are outmatched.

Donovan Mitchell seems to be indifferent after the Cavs’ Game 3 loss

As the superstar player for the Cavs, Mitchell has gone through it all. He has lost a lot of games, but he has also led them to plenty of wins. They are in the ECF, and that is due in large part to his contributions.

Unfortunately, they are playing against the Knicks, a team that has not lost a game since Game 4 of the first round. Mitchell and the Cavs are also not playing to their potential, which is likely a reason behind Mitchell’s indifference after Game 3.

The Cavaliers are struggling to get a grip during their performances. They seem out of it because they are not playing as cohesively as they did during the comebacks against the Detroit Pistons earlier in the postseason.

“Let’s start with making some shots, getting some stops, and making some free throws… We did it to ourselves. Can’t be mad now,” Mitchell said in response to questions about the Cavaliers’ performances in the ECF.

Now, the Cavaliers are up against the wall for Game 4. They could get swept, which will be a disastrous result for the Cavaliers as they head into a monumental offseason.
