Just six months after Sven Mislintat was appointed managing director for sport at Fortuna Düsseldorf, the 53-year-old is apparently leaving the club again.
According to Sky Germany, Bild and Kicker, Mislintat and Fortuna will part ways following the club’s disappointing relegation from the 2. Bundesliga.
The former Borussia Dortmund scout arrived in December with the aim of strengthening transfer activity and helping the club avoid the drop, but the campaign ultimately ended in disappointment.
Former Arminia Bielefeld sporting director Samir Arabi is expected to succeed him.
