After another thrilling week of the high school boys track and field season, it’s time to look back on the best performances.

Giorgio Bruttini, Ramsey
The versatile junior won the 400 hurdles and placed in two other individual events and the 4-x-400 relay at the North 1, Group 2 sectional and then ran the second fastest time in the state in breaking the meet record in the 400 hurdles at the Bergen Meet of Champions.
Seven Garcia, Hackensack
He’s headed for Southern California next fall at USC but first he’s shattering records and winning titles. He tripled the 200, 400 and 800 and anchored the 4-x-400 relay at the North 1, Group 4 sectional and won the 400 and anchored the meet record 4-x-400 relay at the Bergen Meet of Champions.
Marcus Koshy, Pascack Valley
He hopes to run at Rutgers and he brings a great week of running to enhance a solid resume as he won the 800 and 1,600 at the North 1, Group 2 sectional and then ran a personal best 4:16.94 to win the BMOC 1,600 easily.
Jack Saladino, Ridgewood
He’s headed to run at Sacred Heart next year and he’ll head there by becoming a state sectional champ in the North 1, Group 4 110 hurdles and took third in the 400 hurdles, and then became the first Ridgewood athlete in 50 years to win the 110 hurdles at the Bergen Meet of Champions.
Brady Shine, Hasbrouck Heights
The Rowan University bound javelin thrower dominated his two events during the period, winning the North 1 Group 1 sectional by 13 feet and the Bergen Meet of Champions by 22 feet.
