North Carolina’s 2025-26 season didn’t end how the Tar Heels’ wanted it to. After a tough loss to VCU in the NCAA Tournament, the Tar Heels’ season ended, and so did the tenure of Hubert Davis.
For some players, they moved on in the transfer portal. But for a few, they could hear their name called in the 2026 NBA Draft next month. While Caleb Wilson is projected to go in the top four and Henri Veesaar is a fringe first-round pick, long-time Tar Heel Seth Trimble is hoping for his chance to make an NBA roster.
After going through the NBA G-League Combine earlier in the month, Trimble is now working out for NBA teams.
Trimble was one of a few prospects who worked out for the Indiana Pacers earlier this week, the team revealed via social media:

Trimble was a standout at the G-League Combine earlier in May as he looks to work his way onto an NBA roster. It’s unlikely he will be drafted as he’s a prospect ranked outside of the top 50. However, he should at least get a look at the NBA Summer League.
From there, who knows what can happen. If he can impress early, there’s a shot he could land in a good situation.
