Barcelona star Raphinha says his decision to join the Catalan giants was the best of his career and revealed he previously had offers from two English clubs.
The Brazilian joined Barcelona from Leeds in 2022 and has gone on to win La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup titles with the club.
Speaking to TNT Sports Brasil, Raphinha was asked about his career and revealed how he had plenty of offers before he moved to Catalunya.
“I had offers from a Blue team and also a Red team from London… but the best decision of my career was signing for Barcelona,” he said.
Raphinha was also asked for the one player he’d have liked to have played alongside and went for Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane.
“Yes, he has an excellent sense of positioning, he plays well and scores goals,” he added. “I put him in the category of very great players. He’s close to genius, but geniuses are very rare at that level.”
Barca have been linked with Kane this season but the striker is now expected to extend his contract at Bayern.
