Arsenal showed great resilience to take the Champions League final beyond 120 minutes in Budapest, but it was the defending champions, Paris Saint-Germain, who came out on top. PSG became only the second team, after Real Madrid, to win the competition two years running in the Champions League era. It was a momentous night of football with the game incredibly close. Post-match celebrations in Paris were marred by some clashes with police. Details by Nicholas Rushworth.
