Golden State Warriors 2025-26 player grades: Moses Moody

Entering his fifth season in the NBA, all with the Warriors, former Arkansas Razorback Moses Moody averaged over 20 minutes per game for the second time in his career. After making 57 career starts through his first four seasons, Moody made 49 during the 2025-26 campaign alone, appearing in 60 games in total.

In those games, Moody’s numbers and efficiency improved despite the increase in volume and playing time. During the year the former No. 14 overall selection averaged a career-high 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, one steal and 0.6 blocks. He also improved his 3-point percentage to over 40% for the first time in his career. Unfortunately for Moody and the Warriors, he tore his patellar tendon in late March, sidelining him for the rest of the year and, at best, most of next season as well. Moody currently has two years remaining on his current contract. Given his injury, Golden State could apply for a Disabled Player Exception (DPE), allowing them flexibility to spend above the salary cap.
