Matt LaFleur Enrages Fans With Josh Jacobs Comments
This week, Packers running back Josh Jacobs returned to practice. As shown in the video below, Jacobs dressed and went through drills with his teammates during Tuesday’s OTA session.
Police arrested Jacobs on May 26 after responding to an alleged domestic violence incident a few days earlier. Due to these matters, he missed practice time, but it doesn’t sound like he will be restricted this week.
The Packers’ head coach Matt LaFleur told multiple reporters it is “business as usual” for the veteran running back:
- “business as usual” just another nfl player beating a girl and getting no punishment for it
- Assault is business as usual in the NFL
- In May he turned himself in and was booked on five charges: 1. Strangulation and suffocation (felony) 2. Battery – domestic abuse 3. Criminal damage to property – domestic abuse 4. Disorderly conduct – domestic abuse 5. Intimidation of a victim The investigation is still “pending”, but his butt should be on the couch in the meantime.
- “Business as usual” As the Giants needed to have a massive team meeting because their QB supports the president. Josh Jacobs beats and chokes his girlfriend. Packers: come on back man! You’re welcomed here, it’s business as usual!
- Good sign for Green Bay Jacobs back in practice keeps the offense on track, and business as usual suggests no major concerns
