After final whistle, Vincent Kompany rushed to locker room to praise Bayern Munich after PSG loss

According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany immediately hit the locker room to give his squad praise and other words of encouragement for the fight and heart that it showed as is came back from a 5-2 deficit to finish the game at 5-4.

Kompany gave the squad just the boost it needed per midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović:

After the final whistle, Vincent Kompany immediately went to the dressing room and addressed his players with words of praise and optimism with a view to the return leg next week

Aleksandar Pavlović: “He said he’s proud of us – and of the way we came back, the mentality we showed, the good energy we had in the game, and the good performance we delivered. And that he’s already looking forward to Munich.”

This is just the type of thing you would expect from Kompany, who has forged a strong bond with this his players. Now, the group will need to dig deep in an attempt to pull out a win for the tie at home next week.
