In order to be eligible to purchase a ticket, fans must register for the LA28 Olympic Ticket Draw by July 22. Then, fans will be randomly selected for a spot in Drop 2. If you already registered for Drop 1, you do not have to register again, as you will automatically be re-entered into the Ticket Draw if you have not already purchased your maximum of 12 tickets.

Olympic Tickets Are in High Demand

LA28 reportedly sold more than four million tickets earlier this month in the first drop. Approximately half of the total 1 million $28 tickets were purchased by locals in Southern California and Oklahoma City.

“The response to our initial on-sale was nothing short of historic. Fans from near and far have spoken: the world wants to be part of the LA28 Games,” LA28 chief executive officer Reynold Hoover said in a statement. “The success of Drop 1 is about more than momentum — it reflects LA28’s commitment to delivering a fiscally responsible Games that create a lasting legacy for Los Angeles and its communities.”

There will still be affordable ticketing options available in Drop 2. The average price of a ticket is less than $200, and 75% of all tickets are under $400, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Registration for Drop 2 opened on Thursday. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to watch the world’s greatest athletes compete in 2028, and register here before July 22.
