“He’s like a statue. It’s so hard to beat them whenhe’s on the floor just because of his defense. I was so happy that n**ga got kicked out. I hope they suspend him. Imma email the ass right now!”

Victor Wembanyama received first ever Flagrant 2 in NBA career

Victor Wembanyama got his first ever flagrant 2 foul in his career so far, alongside an ejection in Game 4 after he elbowed Naz Reid in the neck and the jaw.

He then hit Reid, and the play was immediately stopped. Wembanyama was ejected from the game and Anthony Edwards eventually led Minnesota to victory in that game with a 36-point performance.

The NBA did not impose any further punishment on Wembanyama though. The Frenchman was allowed to return in Game 5 and help the Spurs stop Minnesota’s comeback. The Spurs won Game 6, 139-109, to close the series and advance to the Western Conference Finals.

As for Anthony Edwards, he had a good performance against the Spurs in the semifinals. He averaged 23.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the series. However, the Timberwolves were outmatched in terms of talent on their depth chart.
