Austin Reaves Upgraded to Questionable For Game 3 vs. Rockets

Los Angeles Lakers star Austin Reaves, who is slated to be a free agent at the end of the season, has been on the mend for weeks with an oblique injury, but he is seemingly intent on returning during the team’s series against the Rockets.

Reaves, according to the Lakers’ latest injury report before Friday’s Game 3, was listed as questionable, the first time his status has been listed as such since he picked up the injury.

He got hurt at the start of April during a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the same contest when Luka Doncic picked up his hamstring injury.

The timeline for Reaves’ recovery put him out for the rest of the regular season, but there was a chance he could return against the Rockerts if he healed up well.

Reaves has been with the team throughout his rehabilitation, receiving treatment from the training staff, unlike Luka Doncic’s trip to Europe for a different kind of treatment.
