Belmont softball will face Southeastern Louisiana in the NCAA Tournament at 2:30 p.m. CT on May 15 in the Tuscaloosa Regional in Alabama.
Belmont (40-11) is the back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference Tournament champion, beating Murray State 8-1 in the final on May 9.
Southeastern Louisiana won the Southland Conference regular-season championship.
The winner of Belmont vs. SE Louisiana will play the winner of the No. 1 overall seed Alabama (49-7) game against USC Update (36-21).
Behind ace pitcher Maya Johnson (27-2), Belmont also won the 2026 MVC regular-season championship. Johnson leads the nation with a 0.66 ERA.
The Bruins head into the NCAA Tournament on a six-game winning streak. They have won nine of their past 10 games.
Belmont picked up its first NCAA Tournament win in 2025 by defeating Jackson State 2-1 in the Tuscaloosa Regional. Belmont lost in the following game to Virginia Tech 11-1.
