Max Scherzer is a great resource for the Toronto Blue Jays‘ younger pitchers to have.
Scherzer has seen and done all there is to do in baseball. A phenom like Trey Yesavage can surely learn plenty from Scherzer.
But a pairing like that can also create some meme-worthy moments.
During Saturday’s game, Scherzer was chatting up a storm in the dugout. Yesavage was alongside him, listening as you’d expect him to.
But the face Yesavage had working suggested someone who was just a little zoned out as the older pitcher next to him kept on talking:
