Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown makes All-NBA Second Team

Star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown came in as a 2025-26 All-NBA Second Team member per recent reporting from the league, narrowly missing out on a First Team nod after a Most Valuable Player-level season. Brown came in sixth overall in the voting returns with a total of 384 total points granted.

Just behind the Georgia native was Los Angeles Clippers vet Kawhi Leonard (277 total points). Ahead of the Celtics star is Oklahoma City Thunder MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic (tied at 500 points), San Antonio Spurs wunderkind Victor Wembanyama (499), Luka Doncic (482) of the Los Angeles Lakers, and Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (414).

Brown’s teammate Derrick White made the other players receiving votes with 3 total points for a single Third Team vote.

“It marks Brown’s second career All-NBA Second Team selection (2022-23) after he led the league in field goals (736), the first Celtic to ever do so, and ranked third in the NBA in points (2,038) this season,” notes Boston in a release circulated about the Cal alum’s accolade.

“The 29-year-old averaged a career-high 28.7 points, a career-high-tying 6.9 rebounds, a career-high 5.1 assists, and 1.0 steals in 71 games (all starts) this season, making him one of two players this season and the third Celtic ever to average 28.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists. Brown, who became the eighth Celtic to score 2,000+ points in a single season, earned three Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors (Dec. 1-7, Dec. 22-28, March 30-April 5) and was named Eastern Conference Player of the Month for January.”
