BREAKING: Pep Guardiola to leave Manchester City at season’s end

Pep Guardiola is set to leave Manchester City at the end of the Premier League season, a year before his contract expires in 2027, after an illustrious decade of service at the club.

The six-time title winner, 55, became the first manager in history to lead a club to four successive English top flight titles between 2020 and 2024 – taking six of the last eight titles available – and a domestic treble in the 2018/19 season.

But most memorable, perhaps, was lifting City’s first ever Champions League trophy when Rodri slammed home the winner against Inter Milan in the 2022/23 season to complete a famous continental treble.

It comes as the Spaniard refused to comment on whether he would be cutting his time short at the Etihad after lifting the FA Cup having defeated managerless Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley, now taking the title fight to the final day of the season.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager departs as the most decorated manager in the Sky Blues’ history and one of the best to ever grace English football, winning a tremendous 20 honours since his arrival in 2016.
