Browns have done the unthinkable

The Cleveland Browns have done the unthinkable.

After winning NFL Defensive Player of the Year for the second time in his career and breaking the NFL sack record, Myles Garrett has been traded to the Los Angeles Rams for a massive haul. This had been rumored ever since the Browns moved back his roster bonus to the start of the regular season, and now the nightmare has been realized.

In exchange for Garrett, the Browns have received pass rusher and 2024 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Jared Verse, a 2027 NFL Draft first round pick, and more.

This is nothing but a massive bummer for the Browns and their fanbase to now have wasted the careers of not only the best offensive tackle of the last 20 years, but also the best pass rusher of the generation. We’ll see how the rest of the compensation now as they have to scramble and rebuild from shipping out a future Hall of Famer and cornerstone piece of the franchise.
