Browns select WR Denzel Boston with 39th pick in 2026 NFL Draft

The Cleveland Browns have doubled up on the wide receiver position. With the 39th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Browns have selected wide receiver Denzel Boston out of Washington.

Boston, a massive 6-foot-3.5 and 212-pound wide receiver, is coming off back-to-back seasons with over 800 yards and a combined 20 touchdowns on 125 catches. He is a massive redzone target with a massive catch radius; as one could assume, the hands are strong as well.

This comes after the Browns selected wide receiver KC Concepcion with the 24th overall pick on Day 1 of the NFL Draft. The overhaul of their wide receiver room is real. After making no moves in free agency at the position of substance, they have now invested two massive assets into the position

What this means for the Browns

Given Boston’s role as the likely X receiver on the roster, this could spell the end of the Cedric Tillman era in Cleveland. It would not be a shock to see the Browns now shop their former third round pick.

The time is now for the Cleveland offense, getting a dynamic duo of Washington and Concepcion. Now, they just need a quarterback to consistently get the football to them.
