Some of the Chicago Bears are on the field at Halas Hall today for a two-day rookie minicamp. Besides their 2026 draft class and undrafted free agents, several rookies (and a few veterans) are there on a tryout basis.
Here’s the roster of players for this weekend.
Do any UDFA or tryout players stand out to you?
Earlier today, the Bears announced that four draft picks and 13 UDFAs have been signed.
In case you were wondering, draft picks are allowed to practice while they are still unsigned, as the league provides them with an agreement to sign that if they get hurt, they’d still receive the contract they have coming to them based on draft position.
Beginning on May 11, the Bears can conduct a seven-week rookie football developmental program for their draft class and their UDFAs.
Chicago will hold their OTAs on May 27-29 and June 2-4, with a mandatory minicamp from June 9-11.
The Bears have a few roster spots available, so expect a few additions following minicamp.
