Kharim Hughley is putting together another strong showing this weekend at the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles, continuing to make a case as one of the more intriguing quarterback prospects in attendance.
The Clemson quarterback commit was sharp during the Pro Day workout, finishing 17-of-20 through the passing portion of the competition. His performance placed him among the better groups of passers on Day 2, with only a few quarterbacks posting higher totals.
Hughley had already generated buzz after the opening day of the event, and he’s kept that momentum going. His arm strength has stood out throughout the weekend, especially when pushing the ball downfield, and evaluators have also pointed to how quickly the ball comes out of his hand. Even against a loaded field of top quarterbacks from across the country, Hughley has looked comfortable and confident.
The four-star prospect from Gainesville, Georgia committed to Clemson last summer and remains one of the headliners in the Tigers’ 2027 recruiting class. While many of Clemson’s commits are spending this weekend on campus for official visits, Hughley is expected to make his official visit to Tigertown during the June 12–14 recruiting weekend.

He enters his senior season after leading his team to a 12-win year and a trip to the Georgia 5A state championship game. Hughley threw for 2,456 yards and 33 touchdowns as a junior while also adding nearly 400 rushing yards and eight more scores on the ground.
With another productive weekend against elite competition, Hughley continues to show why Clemson made him a priority early in the recruiting process.
