The wide receiver free agent market still has plenty of high-upside and veteran talent available in late-May.

Contributors like Stefon Diggs, Tyreek Hill, Odell Beckham Jr., and DeAndre Hopkins headline the list of notable wideouts looking for new homes in 2026-27.

Regarding the WR trade market, there’s one particular asset that stands out from the rest of the pack: the Philadelphia Eagles’ 28-year-old Super Bowl champion star, A.J. Brown. Brown will likely join a new franchise in June after not being on the same page with Philadelphia for most of last year. The New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, and Jacksonville Jaguars are believed to be the top three suitors for the three-time Pro Bowler.

However, Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox thinks the Los Angeles Rams, Indianapolis Colts, and Las Vegas Raiders shouldn’t be against the idea of trading for Brown this summer.

“While the Rams ultimately didn’t flip the switch on an early offseason Brown trade, it sounds like they got excruciatingly close,” Knox wrote last Thursday “Reengaging with the Eagles would make a ton of sense for Los Angeles, which has its own uncertainty at the receiver position.”

“Puka Nacua checked into rehab in April and is entering a contract year—though, head coach Sean McVay hopes Nacua is ‘a Ram for a really long time,’ per ESPN’s Sarah Barshop.”

“The Indianapolis Colts have made it pretty clear that they believe they can win now.

They traded for Sauce Gardner at last year’s trade deadline and signed quarterback Daniel Jones to a two-year, $88 million deal this offseason. Trading for Brown could help the Colts win now—or, at least as soon as Jones is fully recovered from a torn Achilles. It would also make a good amount of sense.”

“While the Raiders have put some nice pieces in place for Mendoza, including Ashton Jeanty, Brock Bowers, and Tyler Linderbaum, they lack a No. 1 receiver. Secondly, as Fowler noted, the Raiders might be able to snag Brown for a 2028 first-round pick, which would be huge.”

With the Rams previously expressing interest in Brown before ultimately backing out of the Brown sweepstakes, they don’t belong in the Wild Card landing spot category.

The Colts and Raiders, on the other hand, aren’t exactly well-known suitors for Brown this summer, which would make it shocking if either AFC franchise pulled off a shocking trade. That said, it’s worth noting that Indianapolis is far closer to Super Bowl contention, giving them slightly higher odds to land Brown.

At the end of the day, there’s still time for franchises not currently pursuing the Eagles’ standout WR to make a last-second effort to bring him on board.
