The Indianapolis Colts have yet to announce their 2026 undrafted free agent class, but there are several reported signings that have been made, a few of which were ranked among the top UDFAs by NFL.com.
Each year, Chad Reuter puts together a position-by-position look at the best available undrafted rookies following the draft.
Below are the UDFAs reportedly signed by the Colts who made Reuter’s rankings.
OT Nolan Rucci, Penn State
Rucci played mostly right tackle the last two seasons at Penn State. Over nearly 600 pass-blocking reps during that span, he surrendered only two sacks.
DE Mitchell Melton, Virginia
Melton had a breakout year in 2025, his first at Virginia, totaling 53 quarterback pressures with six sacks.
IDL Cameron Ball, Arkansas
Ball has experience moving around the defensive front. He’s graded out well against the run throughout his career by PFF’s metrics.
LB Wes Weeks, LSU
Whether as a blitzer, run defender, or tasked with coverage duties, Weeks did a bit of everything for the LSU defense.
S Austin Brown, Wisconsin
Brown moved around the Wisconsin secondary often, playing deep, in the box, and from the slot all relatively often. He forced two pass breakups in coverage last season and made 58 total tackles.
