Corey Heim joins 23XI Racing full-time for 2027 NASCAR Cup season

Corey Heim is going full-time racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. Heim will drive the No. 35 car full-time for 23XI Racing during the 2027 Cup Series season, the organization announced. The 23XI Racing driver will replace Riley Herbst, who has impressed in his second full-time Cup Series campaign.

Heim won the 2025 NASCAR Truck Series championship with double-digit victories. Instead of a promotion to the NASCAR O’Reilly Series, the driver of the organization’s fourth part-time entry has a limited schedule in the Cup Series. Plus, Heim continues to win in the Truck Series in his select starts with TRICON Garage.

It was a surprise to see Heim not be a full-time driver during the 2026 NASCAR season, but he will be even more prepared for his rookie campaign in the Cup Series. Heim may not be contending for wins until mid-to-late 2027, but he should be in position to win the Rookie of the Year award with 23XI Racing.
