After hovering around the top of the division for years, Sandhagen finally broke through for a title shot with a win over Deiveson Figueiredo, but couldn’t get the job done against Dvalishvili.
Bautista (17-3 MMA, 11-3 UFC) enters on the heels of a second-round submission win against Vinicius Oliveira in February. That result put him back in the win column after a unanimous decision loss to Umar Nurmagomedov in October, which snapped an eight-fight winning streak.
