Pereira, a former 185- and 205-pound champ, will make his bid to
become a three-division title holder when he faces Ciryl Gane
for interim heavyweight gold in the UFC White House co-main event.
“Poatan” has emerged as one of the promotion’s biggest stars since
coming to the
UFC from Glory Kickboxing in 2021.
Holloway, meanwhile, is usually mentioned with Jose Aldo and
Alexander
Volkanovski as one of the top featherweights in UFC history. In
addition to a lengthy reign as 145-pound champion, “Blessed” also
held the BMF crown before relinquishing the strap to Charles
Oliveira at UFC 326 this past March.
