Crusaders beat Derry as Lisburn Ladies and Larne draw

Crusaders continued their unbeaten start to the Women’s Premiership with a 3-1 victory over Derry City at Seaview.

Sophie Gargan’s effort put the home side ahead in the opening five minutes before Rachel McIntyre levelled the match shortly after.

However, Beth Chalmers restored the Crues’ advantage on 31 minutes with Gargan netting her second of the evening just before the break.

Elsewhere, Lisburn Ladies drew 1-1 with Larne at the Bluebell Stadium.

Zoe Rodgers’ early goal after three minutes was cancelled out in the second half by Maureen Quinn, with neither side able to find a crucial second goal.
