De’Aaron Fox injury update: Spurs guard limps off vs Thunder in 3Q

SAN ANTONIO — De’Aaron Fox exited the third quarter of Game 3 of the Western Conference finals between the OKC Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.

Fox didn’t place any weight on his right foot after falling to the floor late in the quarter, and he quickly subbed out. The Spurs’ starting point guard missed the first two games of the Western Conference finals series due to a right ankle sprain.

Fox made his return Friday with the series tied at 1-1. He had a stat line of 13 points, five rebounds, four assists and one steal in 25 minutes at the time of his departure.

OKC has a 95-84 lead at the end of the third quarter.
