The Baltimore Ravens will look a little different this year than what we’ve been accustomed to under John Harbaugh.

With Jesse Minter in the big chair, Baltimore has a new voice and way of doing things, along with a new offensive coordinator as well.

All of this change is due to the franchise’s postseason failings and likely due to Harbaugh being there for so long; a fresh voice was needed.

And while some see change as scary and something that is uncomfortable, running back Derrick Henry has a different way of looking at it.

“I mean, change can be good,” Henry said via The Athletic. “We’re all excited for everything. Everything is new, so we’re all just trying to learn, but also enjoying it, taking it day by day, not trying to get too overwhelmed, but just being present in the moment.”

Ravens embracing change

Well, they didn’t really have a choice, did they?

For so long, Baltimore has been among the AFC elites, but Harbaugh couldn’t get the team over the hump in the postseason over the past handful of seasons.

So, a change was made, and now it is Minter who is tasked with getting Baltimore back to the summit of the NFL.

Granted, it won’t be easy to accomplish because of the unpredictable nature of football, but the pieces are there. It just all has to come together.

Let the Minter era begin.
