Diego Pavia made headlines over the weekend for going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft. The former Vanderbilt quarterback eventually agreed to a minicamp invite with the Baltimore Ravens, but the news wasn’t the best result.
After the dust settled from Pittsburgh, we learned more about the lead up to the draft. Pavia reportedly took a trip home and lost a lot of money in the process. According to TMZ Sports, the NFL Draft reject made a sizable donation at a local strip club.
“We’re told the Heisman finalist made his way to Knockouts Gentlemen’s Club in Albuquerque on March 8,” TMZ reported. “He spent the night enjoying the vibes.”
Pavia didn’t hear his name called in the 257 pick in the draft. While some projections had him as a solid Day 2 or 3 selection, he was passed over by every team.
The NFL journey starts in Baltimore with Pavia looking to co-exist as a backup option. Former NFL MVP Lamar Jackson has a firm grasp on the starting role in Baltimore going into next season. However, don’t count out the possibility of Pavia being more than just a training camp player.
