Dillon Brooks introduces new game that clowns Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Phoenix Suns wing Dillon Brooks may be friends with Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander off the court, but he continues to be critical of his foul-baiting on the court.

Brooks came together with gaming company Underdog to promote a new board game similar to the famous “Operation” board game.

This one is called “Unethical Hoops.” The goal of the game is to be able to take defenders’ hands that each game player is given, and try to take the basketball from Gilgeous-Alexander without getting called for a foul:

The game is “coming soon,” and Brooks was picked to promote the game for a reason. Brooks torched Gilgeous-Alexander’s foul baiting after Game 2 of his playoff series for the Suns against the Thunder in the 2026 postseason.

“A little frail,” Brooks described Gilgeous-Alexander, when asked about guarding him in the Game 2 loss and getting in foul trouble when guarding him. “And that’s what the refs are gonna call. I got to be smarter about it, but this is the playoffs, a man’s game.

“Like, I used to watch this back when Michael Jordan was playing, and whoever else, and when LeBron (James) was younger. Like, it’s just physical basketball. I don’t get why all the dropping, the falling, and the flopping, and the flailing and all this stuff is allowed when you get to the playoffs. Like, leave that for the season, for the fans. This is about who’s the better team, who’s a more winning team. Don’t decide the games on no free throws. … You got to fix that.”

The Thunder shot 99 free throws over the course of the series (four games), while the Suns shot 79.

Gilgeous-Alexander shot 49 free throws during the series. The Suns’ leader was Devin Booker, who shot 28 free throws.

Brooks even called on the media to interview referees after games.

The officiating in the series became a national story about how the Thunder are officiated, and soon fans will be able to take their frustration out on the new game.
