The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top five schools for three-star edge rusher recruit Olayiwola Taiwo. Georgia along with Wake Forest, Kansas, Virginia Tech and Rutgers made Taiwo’s top schools.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound edge rusher plays high school football for Lovejoy High School in Hampton, Georgia. The talented pass rusher is ranked as the No. 1,334 recruit in the country and the No. 101 edge rusher. Taiwo is the No. 145 recruit in the Peach State and is a member of the class of 2027.
Georgia football and coach Kirby Smart recently landed a commitment from three-star defensive lineman Waylon Wooten. The Bulldogs appear to be using a different recruiting strategy than normal for the 2027 recruits. The Bulldogs have just two defensive commitments right now and both of them are three-star prospects.
Taiwo will be taking an official visit to Georgia from May 29-31 along with several other elite recruits in the class of 2027. In his tape, Taiwo flashes explosiveness and strength. The edge rusher is capable of defeating offensive linemen with his hands.
