F1 Canadian Grand Prix 2026: How to watch the next Formula 1 race, TV channel, time and more

This weekend’s Formula 1 race, the Canadian Grand Prix, is a unique one on this year’s schedule, at least as far as how you can watch from home. While Apple TV is the new streaming home of Formula 1 racing this season, you can also tune in to this week’s race on Netflix – a first for that platform, but it makes sense as they’re the home to the wildly popular series Formula 1: Drive to Survive. (In return, Netflix has given Apple the streaming rights to Season 8 of that series, which has been available on both platforms since February.)

You can catch all practices and qualifying races on both Netflix and Apple TV this week. (F1 TV Premium, the subscription service that was previously available as a comprehensive hub to watch every race, is part of Apple TV now and is included at no additional cost for Apple subscribers.)

On Apple promises plenty of alternate feeds at every race this weekend too, including a Driver Tracker that offers a bird’s-eye view of the race; real-time telemetry and timing; a mixed onboard feed that automatically switches between onboard cameras; and podium feeds that dynamically follow the drivers running in P1, P2, and P3 throughout each race. You can catch all the action on the dedicated F1 channel on Apple TV.

Here’s everything you need to know about this weekend’s Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix., and check out. the schedule for every other race of the season, too.

F1 races used to air on ESPN and ESPN2 in the U.S., but Apple TV has signed an exclusive five-year deal to be the U.S. broadcaster of Formula 1 starting this season. For those without traditional cable, that makes watching F1 much easier. If you aren’t already an Apple TV subscriber and don’t want to shell out for yet another streaming service, we have a guide on how to get Apple TV for free in 2026.
