As the Florida State Seminoles look for more talent at the linebacker position in the 2027 recruiting cycle to go along with four-star Gregory Batson, they have found a new target in the state of Texas. They have extended an offer to three-star Cam Pettijohn.
“AGTG blessed to receive an offer from florida state!!,” Pettijohn wrote on social media.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder has seen his recruitment take off tremendously this month. He’s received offers from the Colorado Buffaloes, Auburn Tigers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, and Kansas Jayhawks during that time.
Pettijohn is coming off a monster junior season at Plano Prestonwood Christian High School. He registered 111 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles in 12 games.
The 247Sports composite rankings have listed Pettijohn as the No. 1,313 overall recruit and the No. 120 linebacker in the country. He’s the No. 164 prospect in the state of Texas as well.
